Really unfair this happened today instead of last semester when I was teaching my New Deal class

Incredible contribution to the process tracing literature

Never have I seen a 1-star review that made me want to go somewhere so much before

Didn't expect the Jehovah's Witnesses to be making such contributions to the IR scholarship, but it is #APSA25 after all

I can only assume this cruise ship is here for APSA

Amazingly petty book title by this guy who got forced out of the FDR administration

Late to getting my APSA plane tickets and hmm I dunno

I know literally nothing about this, but it's definitely the most surprising/interesting APD job ad I've ever seen:

I love the fact that this theater put out this very generic sign to advertise a free showing of Malick’s Days of Heaven

Here's the middleweight title challenger basically saying he got a U.S. visa because of Trump (he fights in Chicago this Saturday) www.bbc.com/sport/mixed-...

Anonymous mode on Lichess is the real Wild West of chess. You get everything from people who are obviously using engines to people who haven't yet heard of the Opera Game (white to move and get a big advantage) #chess #chesspunks

This actually just happened to me in a chess game (unfortunately I was on the losing side of it). I had just played Kg6, with the tricky idea that if my opponent absentmindedly makes a queen I have Rh1+ and it should end in a draw. In fact, white only has a single move that wins #chess #chesspunks

I decided to look on Reddit to see what jazz records people recommend if you like A Love Supreme but want to dig deeper and now my Apple Music is full of album covers that look like this

An older white guy who works as an assistant manager at a propane company in a small suburb in Texas would obviously vote for Donald Trump even if he's a nice guy who can be sympathetic to people he meets who aren't like him.

In an already not-great chess position, I quickly played a6 thinking it would force a trade of my opponent’s annoying knight. But white has a much better reply than simply trading minor pieces #chess

Really glad I bought a normal bass guitar before learning this exists

This is about police reform legislation, but I've lived in upstate New York long enough now that my brain initially assumed it was about football

Interesting tactic from a recent chess game: White to play and get a winning advantage #chess #chesspunks

I've now come across two separate "how to play bass like Peter Hook" YouTube videos where the top comment is by Peter Hook:

I like how this sounds like it's about something the Trump administration did, but actually it's about changes to the Chase Sapphire Reserve rewards program

You can look at neighborhoods and make assumptions, but problems with ecological inference, etc.
