Sanders: I will tell you what I think the worst addiction in this country is, the most dangerous, and that is the greed of the oligarchs. Everybody wants to do well. These guys already have billions, tens of billions, hundreds of billions. How much money do you need?

The only rules to the party are simple.

Follow everyone and follow back all resisters.

Repost so all other resisters can connect.

If you can't do this???

The stock market has tumbled today. Why? Because the jobs report was strong, with over 250,000 jobs added. (So investors are worried that interest rates will remain high.)

It illustrates that the interests of investors and working people are often very different.

Meta, which has major pending matters including an antitrust trial before the federal government, is abandoning any pretense of fact-checking the litany of lies we all know are coming from the incoming Trump administration.

More of Bezos and Amazon cozying up to Trump! Who wants to watch a documentary about Melania anyway? I think this quote from Melania sums it all up for me: "I really don't care, do you?" 😂

Does anyone know if this is actually how TV ratings works? I did leave my TV on and switched to non inauguration shows during the first Trump inauguration but I have always wondered if this is actually how it works. Thanks for any info.

Brilliant cartoonist Ann Telnaes is quitting the Washington Post because the paper killed her cartoon about billionaires in tech and media kowtowing to Trump. Sadly, the Jeff Bezos-owned Post proved her point.

In 2024:

-VW and Amazon workers won big union elections

-Red states raised the min wage and approved paid leave via ballot measure

-The Kroger-Albertsons merger, which would have raised grocery prices, was blocked

To me, returning control of the canal to Panama made sense and ended an era of American colonialism in Panama. I think President Carter did the right thing. What do you think?https://www.npr.org/2024/12/29/1161146405/president-jimmy-carter-legacy-panama
