Here’s that poem I referenced about miscarriages that I wrote
Gaia Trapped in snow, Stuck in tundra, Gaia cries for peace, Violated by the sky And seeded with deceit. Crawling away, Home is found, Life is green and love abound, Solemn she stays, without sound. Growth, Gaia sees the birds all sing, A sprout is found, blooming sweet, Joy comes new, a grand blessing, As winter goes away to sleep. Gaia bursts with greenery, Ferns and flowers show Their colors, as if honoring The hill that now still grows. Summer, Gaia is in love With the beauty of the sky. Reaching out, she finds a hold And climbs into the night. Darkness comes, few does wither, Light blooms down on her, And as she waits there patiently Gaia learns her fears are earned. Autumnal leaves, red that falls Onto the forest floor below, Dripping away into the drain Are her tears and hopes and snow. Gaia finds another peace In the quiet of the white. Joy in Gaia’s heart has ceased, Freezing in the light.
