I think you nailed it a couple months back. Bearing in mind I've not handled them myself, but from seeing others with them, they just don't have that really good, tactile, fidgety nature to them.
Personally, I wanted to see a full 360° twist from them, not just a measly quarter twist!

You know, I've never thought of it before, but I always spell(?) my faux-interrobang as !?, not ?!. Which made me curious if there is a grammatically correct way of spelling it. Near as I could find, no, but apparently in chess notation they do mean two separate things, which I think is neat.
