When I lived in Seattle are discovered that people there do not consider punctuality a virtue. In fact, they find it extremely annoying.

I used to be unnervingly punctual. I didn’t even really have to try to get some place right on time. But now I have to depend on my sister to drive and she is notoriously casual about that. She will not go on a shorter route even if I show her on the map that it is much shorter.

I’ve had friends who criticized my taste in music and basically what they’re saying is that their opinion counts more than mine. Well, I’m the one listening, so their opinion doesn’t count for shit.
