That's an ending I would be ok with. Wife is so scrambled from what genetics and life has dealt her, I doubt a decision like that is possible.

I'm worried that the "geniuses" behind the AI craze will be throwing the LLM version into everything. The expert systems that work, I think, are erroneously labeling it AI. More aptly it's adaptive algorithm.

There's a really good reason not to trust AI in any system that affects safety. Although expert systems can run filter algorithms that rapidly detect cancers, fold proteins to find unique new medicines, etc. - it also misses obvious errors and can even hallucinate. Its use should be regulated.

It sure does. Her mother is bipolar and was truly not a skilled or loving parent to her children partially due to it. Her biological father was a deadbeat who also had severe depression.
I've tried to educate them as I too am a nihilist. Trying to have them adopt absurdist nihilism.
