Wonder a bit if Sunak thought he could do better than that, and wanted to see if he could make a difference. It was the reason I got into politics, just his was on a massive scale compared to my weak efforts.

Yanis Varoufakis is a horror show in his own right. I don’t think he should be taken seriously. Or indeed, taken notice of.

When I heard he’d died, was looking around for the obits and tributes, and found the substack he kept on writing his last book. I have great affection for him. He had a natural morality and decency that’s quite rare. A useful man to keep my own views on the right track. He’ll be missed.

I’m not totally sure, based on how basic AI works (scraping the internet for anything, nonsense or not) it’ll ever be able to replace intelligent thought.
