The solution is to get a progressive to run, or a democrat with a better record on policy. I live in CA. Newsom has a horrible record and will get crushed during the campaign.
It’s not just about getting dems to vote - it’s about getting both sides motivated to vote bc a better future is possible.

Newsom won’t motivate disaffected MAGA voters to vote blue, no matter how much he panders to the alt-right. He’s another cookie cutter Dem. If we’ve learned anything, we’ve learned that the MAGA cult will keep burning everything down if the choice is another rank and file politician. That’s reality.

He wants to run on the “white alpha male” platform instead of policies that better people’s lives, which is how we got to this point in the first place.

If you’re running for Pres, take responsibility for your part in getting us to the dangerous place we’re in w/tech and commit to regulating it. Commit to prosecuting corps and individuals for illegally lining their pockets. Support raising taxes on the wealthy. You would take the Dem nomination.

All of the individuals and corporations who are enabling and profiting from Trump’s presidency have to be held accountable. They must be forced to pay back stolen money and be held criminally liable for their crimes. I’m tired of the “bottom up” prosecutions by men like Merrick Garland.
