When I was in elementary school, they showed us news reels of Russian children being "indoctrinated" by communism. By middle school, I had realized we were no different and chose to sit for the pledge. My mother supported my right to do so. I realized, even then, the dream sold to us was hollow.

Too effing right! They're just little men/boys who realize they have an army and can't help themselves but use it. They don't care who dies. They don't care about the American soldiers who may die. They still haven't lowered a flag to half staff for Sarah Beckstrom. Utter a$$holes.
Fentanyl. Drug Overdoses, including Fentanyl, are not even in the top 20 causes of death in the USA. Cancer, Diabetes, Covid, Heart Disease all in the top 10, and all have had their research funding cut. They aren't murdering just Venezuelans. However they are killing us much slower.

With family in the military, I'm terrified of the blase attitude from Trump and Hegseth and their obvious determination and delight at the prospect of invading another country, with no concern at all for the civilians and soldiers who will most assuredly die. It's as if they're in a fever dream.
