Enkrapathy -- a pathological need to impose one’s power or authority on others to maintain internal security or meaning; a craving for control; a fear-driven intolerance of difference; an emotional need to impose order externally to manage internal chaos.
Sorry Apple, had to switch back to macOS Sonoma. Zero regrets, it's a breath of fresh air and runs so much better. A cautionary tail to those who would follow Apple into the abyss of complete control -- don't do it, back out while you can.

The F-35 program is arguably the single most effective wealth-extraction apparatus the U.S. has ever created, disguised as “interoperability” and “alliance alignment.”

Meanwhile, the US and their ambassador want us to believe they make the best planes. Suuure, they definitely never have their engines fly off at random or gears freeze up forcing ditching an insanely expensive plane.

But oh, "trust us."

LOL.

NDP leader Naheed Nenshi pulled few punches today…

Not only did he condemn Smith’s claim Peter Lougheed would support her attack on human rights…

He called her and the entire UCP caucus cowards.

You'd have to be NUTS to vote for Pierre Poilievre, who is nothing but a Reform Party charlatan. He's only further hijacked the true Conservative party and turned it into a seething cesspool right wing extremist Reform Party cult. I can't say I'm really too surprised by his riding election failure.
I'm disappointed too.

In Conservatives.

Who think this Reform Party embodies one iota of what real Conservatism is about -- you know, community, culture, traditional values.

No, they're all about the rip off Canadians for CEO salaries party. And you're all dumb shits for still supporting them.

Canada: we are better off when we're all different. Let's celebrate diversity.

America: we're better off if everyone is like America, you should want to be us and if not, we'll raid your Parliament and install someone who will.

Disgusting. I’ve never been more ashamed to be Canadian right now. So disappointed in our government.
Jesus Christ.

A standing ovation — from Liberals too — for Charlie Kirk in the Canadian House of Commons.

You can (and should) oppose political violence without doing all this, you know.

The Liberals clapping to a Charlie Kirk eulogy is gross and shows who they really are. Fcuk them. Fcuk the Liberals in this country.
Charlie Kirk's death was a tragedy.
But he built his name on provocation and white supremacy.
He said that gun deaths of innocents was "worth it."
On Mark Carney's first day as PM in Parliament Liberals gave Kirk a standing ovation.
Ceding ground to extremism won't make them nicer.

ASUS is without a doubt, the worst fucking group of firmware developers on gods green earth. They couldn't write a decent firmware if you held a gun to their collective heads. They're more focused on adding "Cyperpunk swirls" to the UI rather than make their firmware stable and software useable DNB!

This isn't about safety, it's purely political. Fencing right to the property lines while allowing open access just a bit further up reinforces the idea this is symbolic, not safety-based.
