I met a family who had a daughter planning to attend college for ornithology, they had built a pigeon coop so she could study them... they let me hold a baby; it was the size of a grapefruit, the consistency of a soft warm bag of soup & looked like a bewildered old man. 😂

Not to even mention how many people also want to work remote because they can't afford to live anywhere near the cities that are already completely hollowed out due to those rent prices whether they take a two hour train ride there or not. 😂

A pipe cleaner figure I built of Thrush, a playable character in my tabletop fighting game AMPUTHEATRE. Thrush is a giant marsupial rat with mangy gray fur, a bald head, dark blue eyes, and fangs dripping with blood. She stands on her hind legs and a baby rat snarls from her pouch. Thrush's head and arms are removable for AMPUTHEATRE combat, and she can eat the baby for health if necessary. She stands 3" (7.62 cm) high at the shoulder. A pipe cleaner figure I built of Sabrewulf, a character from the video game KILLER INSTINCT. Sabrewulf is a blue werewolf with beads in his sideburns, brown pants, and long black claws. A pipe cleaner figure I built of a Roper from Dungeons and Dragons. The Roper is a somewhat amorphous brown-yellow monster with six tentacles, a single eye, and a huge mouth. This figure has the mouth at the base of its trunk, surrounded by four tentacles, while its angry blue eye and two longer tentacles crane from a neck. It measures 3" (7.62 cm) high. A pipe cleaner figure I built of the Cacodemon from the video game DOOM. The Cacodemon is a red and pink floating spherical monster with a single green eye, a heavily fanged mouth, and sharp horns. Flesh dribbles and hangs underneath it in strands and loops. It stands 3" (7.62 cm) high.

Thanks for the tag! Here are my 2025 faves. My reason for choosing these is that they helped me build confidence in areas I don't practice as often, and so I felt extra proud when I was done.

Not really, but I do feel bad for some people who commissioned me when I first started doing them, because I've improved so much since then even though they're happy with what they got!

I love a lot of "bad" art if there's an interesting heart and creative eye behind it no matter how skilled the execution is. Because at least there's something unique to engage with.
