all of the shit about how if you allow people to transition kids are going to be peeing in litter boxes was just the mirror image of the reality: as soon as you enshrine immutable gender difference in law you're going to have legally required Lady Meals For Her

Respectfully, Congresswoman, you voted with Republicans to strip due process from immigrants and to praise Trump's ICE. This year.

Now you're upset?

Votes have consequences. Minnesotans deserve better.
ICE agents followed a Burnsville family home from the store, failed to present a warrant and entered their home with guns drawn. They detained 4 legal citizens who presented documentation, leaving a 7 year-old without parents.

A seven-year-old. Let that sink in. Trump’s ICE is out of control.
ICE agents detained four people from a Burnsville home, according to family members, including a 7-year-old's parents and the husband of a pregnant woman.

Do you think validity desirers have ever considered cleaving the world in their own image? Searing their soul in the minds of any who behold them?

If I told you hey there's a guy at the airport raving about the Nourishment of a Mother's Breast, who would you think it is. Wrong it's the U.S. secretary of health and human services
RFK Jr: "All of the ingenuity of corporate America has not produced an infant formula that is superior in nutrition and all the qualities that we want to the infant formula that God made, which is the infant formula in a mother's breast."

This headline is doing a lot of confirmation of my stance that "fighting obesity" is just another way to reify prejudice through policy

something I've been acutely aware of for over a decade, but which the past couple of years have really brought into relief, is that neurodiversity and trans rights are so deeply intertwined they could rightly be considered facets of the same cause. Certainly, our enemies understand them that way
then, the transphobes , feeling victorious at how many people they have made unhappy and despairing in the previous week, move on to anything else that has a spectrum and the possibility of more colours than they can conceive - such hateful people - they cannot understand anything that is not THEM

lmao they put the World Cup in America and now it's got commercial breaks.
News: Every 2026 World Cup match will feature two "hydration breaks," no matter the weather.

Each half will pause for exactly three minutes midway through.

It's a player welfare measure. It also has sporting & commercial implications.

More @theathleticfc.bsky.social:
2026 World Cup to feature three-minute hydration breaks in every half throughout tournament
Every game will pause for three minutes in the middle of each half, which will essentially split the match into quarters.

Yup. Can just imagine the freak out that would follow someone running the numbers on “AI” programs
The first school I worked at started calculating profits and losses for departments. They quickly dropped it when they discovered that history (etc.) were highly "profitable" (cheap profs, little overhead, and huge classes) whereas STEM degrees were not.
