Life in a police state.
I helped nurse my father through shingles when he was pretty far into Stage 3 - Alzheimer's disease. It was brutal to see him suffering with so much pain. It took a lot out of him and he passed 8 weeks later. I had the shingles vaccine last year. Sore arm for a day. No-brainer of a risk trade-off.

It’s misleading to talk only about the risks of vaccines as if the alternative were ‘no risk.’ The real choice is between:
– a small, well-studied risk from the vaccine, and
– a much larger risk from the disease itself.
An honest discussion has to compare both, not just one.
