What do these 3 people have in common?

They have all been found to have been illegally appointed by the Trump Administration to positions leading U.S. Attorney’s Offices around the country.

We need real public servants in these jobs, lawful public servants, who are committed to the rule of law.

I read the classified legal memo and disagree that military strikes on drug boats are legal (w/o congressional war authorization).

But nothing in the memo would authorize strikes on boats not even headed for the U.S. That’s just straight up murder.

DOJ must open investigation.

The Constitution is very straightforward on birthright citizenship. There's no ambiguity in the language, no other plausible interpretation.

The fact that this is a public discussion at all, and that the Supreme Court is taking it up, is on its own anti-constitutional bullshit.

41 minutes of watching two shipwrecked men trying to flip a boat and signaling for surrender/help before firing on them again reminds me of the 9.5 minutes Derek Chauvin knelt on George Floyd’s neck, in that it’s an agonizingly long time to be killing helpless people who clearly posed no threat.

The Caribbean incident is a very familiar story. Democrats like Jim Himes tell you what they actually saw, while Republicans like Tom Cotton tell you what they want you to think they saw.

Just like Jan 6th.

So now show us all the video so we can see it for ourselves.

There is no legitimate reason not to release the complete Sep. 2 video.

They released video of the first strike. What national security justification could there be for releasing video of the first part of the action but not the second? They wanted to cover up what happened after the first strike.

I had an enlightening conversation with a very smart lawyer friend recently about court reform, and he made a persuasive case for simple court expansion because it's the only plan that gets you the requisite change that's also completely, unquestionably constitutional.
I'm going to keep saying this in my effort to speak it into reality: Supreme Court should have at least 100 Justices with rotating panels (and maybe an en banc option). No single Justice should have so much power and they shouldn't be names everyone knows.
A court with a normal-ish conservative majority would have been tolerable. I'm not eager for court packing, impeaching justices, and other such options. But this court sticking around post-Trump is untenable. They've already torched their own legitimacy, the only question is what do we do about it.

This is sickening.
This really is grotesque: they went through years-long citizenship processes and are now being denied simply because if the country they are from. It’s formalized bigotry.
“She showed up as scheduled, and when she arrived, officers were asking everyone what country they were from, and if they said a certain country, they were told to step out of line and that their oath ceremonies were canceled.”
