I consider Joe Biden a devil.

I like to garden, sew, cook, write, & play video games. Still masked up. Mom to grown children, and caregiver to my mom & sister.

Zone 5a Illinois.

Gardening is political. Hobbies are political.

Was recently cleaning up some work stuff and found my souvenir from when our art director took an actual sledgehammer to the ceramic pill piggy banks she'd crafted for this story.

No CGI or AI on this one, just the thrilling cycle of creation and destruction.

“Why are your posts so political?”

Because health is political

Because the President of the most powerful country on earth has said disabled people should be “left to die”

Because we’re living through a mass disabling event

Because eugenics is back

Because our lives matter

The dog was wearing a cone, and he kept indicating that he felt undignified and inconvenienced. We've been waiting for this inflatable ring I got him, and I've put it on. Pic when he'll look me in the eye again. Overall, he's pretty disappointed in the choices I've made.

3 losses in 3 months. 7 grieving kids. Holidays coming. We lost my 27 year old sister, my grandfather, and now my 94-year-old grandmother is in the hospital.

Funerals, clearing homes, daily care, Christmas..we’re overwhelmed.

Over on X, people like Nick Fuentes thrive

On Bluesky, autistic disability advocate AJ Link, president of the Nat’l Disabled Legal Professionals Assn (and an expert in space law) is banned

Singal? Bluesky changed the TOS to accommodate him

The racism and fascism are overt
Link's perma ban is wrong and should be reversed.

And what illustrates it being EVEN MORE WRONG, are recent suspensions with restoration with much much more egregious offenses in the same line of what Bluesky claims Link was banned over.

A huge problem in Illinois cities that are NOT Chicago is the seemingly unheard-of concept that not everyone wants to own a house. Right over the head of many people who live and own here.

Advanced version...not everyone wants to own a car or drive, either.
