That's New Orleans for ya, water puppies everywhere from what I've heard lol.

I have only seen them in zoos where I live up north/Midwest.

I have definitely eaten alligator quite a bit in my lifetime too. 😅

All I see where I live now is squirrels and large kitten sized rats. 😅

I miss the sandhill cranes, they were so cool. And the 13-lined ground squirrels. Lived in the UP for almost 20 years and only saw them when I lived near a prairie by the last apartment I had there in the final years, they stuck to that field only lol. They're so cute and tiny!

Thankfully I never see them here where I live now. But now I see centipedes all the time again l I can't win 😭

Wolf spiders just lived in my old grown lvl apartment in MQT. Loved that they would drop on me from the ceiling SO MUCH 😭

Also the moose teenager that lived in our cemetery down the street for a bit

The coolest were definitely the wolf pack I saw on the way to the airport once

I forgot turkeys! They were everywhere in the upper peninsula lol
