Thank you to everyone who joined the CBC town hall on extortion. These extortion threats are my number one public safety priority. With community tips and a surge of officers on the BC Extortion Task Force, we are targeting those responsible and holding them to account.

Three people tied to violent extortion have been removed from Canada. Offenders will be pursued, arrested, charged, and may be deported.
Thanks to CBSA, RCMP, CFSEU, & local police in the B.C. Extortion Task Force.
We won't stop until these criminals are brought to justice.
