agreed that i prefer the little dollhouse world of RE1, RE2 is very similar to Fatal Frame 2 in that it has a lot of incredible little areas and benefits from sophomore confidence but the abstract architecture that sits somewhere between point and click and Doom level doesn't work as well spread out

if only there was a deep well of beautiful art to explore outside triple-a videogames. if only it didn’t all have be so stupid

ah, no luck, even the fork that handles bluray rw can only open the disc file structure, it can't actually play it :( was hoping ghostwatch would work...

the movian player on cfw might let you do this, it has options for zoom and pan at the very least, i use it hooked up to my crt for 4:3 video files

this is especially annoying because the monster and character designs are still great but everything just looks like its floating in asset soup in the open world, bewildering how much better it all looks in interiors
