Gave it a go on CachyOS and it works flawlessly, though I will note that mouse sensitivity is ridiculously high even at the lowest setting for some reason. Alpha builds be like that though.

glad I stuck with it this time. the entire TPS genre never clicks with me for some reason but the movement and melee shenanigans make up for it for me here
I've heard endgame is grindy as shit but the game doesn't rely on FOMO like so many others and encourages coming and going, so we'll see

this fight is honestly the only tricky bit, the rest is pretty easy, and the real final boss right after this is *much* easier (minus the possibility of ruining the run by mistiming the one mechanic)

Oh yeah, I used to hack this together on all the ones I painted. Probably could've done it more cleanly than hot gluing some bulbs in and soldering to a random power source that worked but oh well
