4/ Also why is Bradley saying they were not visibly injured but were still on the list of approved targets.

Hors de combat is hors de combat. List doesn't affect that.

WWII Germans could have a list of American soldiers who can be killed. But if they're shipwrecked, killing them is a war crime.

Treating what lawyers says is either murder or war crimes like just another “bad week” in political imagery…

is not journalistic and partly why we’re in these shitty times

How about this:

“We the people” and “liberty and justice for all”

Damn, this isn’t hard - just do the damn job, keep records, collect evidence and insist on impeachment for all these corrupt officials (that’s the peaceful way out of this clusterf*%*k)
We could go on forever about how much this slogan sucks.

And you could wonder all day why Jeffries—instead of trying to impress donors, CNBC, and Fox News by attacking socialism—can’t simply defend Democrats’ vastly superior economic record of delivering for all Americans.
Democrats’ New Slogan Is a Donor-Class Disaster
It’s time to start the 2028 primary and step over this donor-coddling nonsense.

Tax billionaires’ wealth at at least 90%

Maybe then they’ll get an appreciation for all this country (and tax payers) have given them, to allow them to prosper

Still b. S. -passing the criminal hot potato back and forth

Simply listing someone is a narcoterrorist still does not give license to simply kill them

USA is not at war (so not combatants)

They have not attacked USA (so not legit military target)

Stopping criminals is a law enforcement function

This National Security Strategy is absolute amateur hour

(like the rest of what the Trump regime tries to do)

Many “wants” + assumes bases of US power + influence will continue as have for 80+years due to hard work (while simultaneously wrecking pillars of US hard + soft power)

Worse than foolish
The Trump administration has quietly released its National Security Strategy — apparently late on Thursday. Usually there's a rollout and fanfare for these things: www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/u...

The Trump administration's statements echo white nationalist streamer Nick Fuentes, who has repeatedly called for a shutdown of all immigration and boasted of the right's shift “against mass migration.”

8/ A public service reminder:

This entire exercise is an absurd, imaginary world for legal experts.

That's because the truth is:

It's not an armed conflict.
The laws of war thus don't apply.

The more restrictive rules of human rights apply.
It's extrajudicial killing under that law.

Bottom line:

ALL of the strikes are extrajudicial killings under international law, murder under domestic law.

That's true of a first strike on any of these boats, & also of Sept 2 strike killing shipwrecked survivors (which would *also* be illegal in an armed conflict, but the US isn't in one).
