Exactly. She may hate Walmart! Clearly he didn’t listen (part of why I think he should have gone with one of her friends or family). It also sounds like he didn’t spend time/effort on the ring as well. He wasn’t having to guess at her taste, he wasn’t time pressed.

He says “I still spent $900” and she didn’t balk at that (so I don’t think $$$). I am not a fan of Big Jewelry’s shoulds (two months salary) or debt. So what’s the spend for him? Is it the biggest consumer purchase he’s made in a while? Or did he go to Vegas with buddies and buy a PS5 this year?

You know it's MAXIMUM TRANSPARENCY when they are frantically scrambling teams who are working overtime.... after they pulled ONE THOUSAND FBI agents active 24 hours a day in March to comb through the files flagging mentions of Trump.
And much like his relationships, he is taking his demons out on those he perceives as less powerful and getting more paranoid and aggro along the way. This “let’s give abusive narcissistic men the most powerful positions and take off the guardrails” experiment is going about like you’d think.

I’d say maybe she’s a cool for embracing what I assume her parents thought was a hilarious move, but she working for ICE for years then DHS and opting to ascend with Trump.

Grant writer here and I think the skills crossover with journalism is one of the closest among writing disciplines. Both rely on critical thinking, good info structure, writing within length limits, clear/concise sentences, research chops, attention to detail and accuracy, strong starts, etc.
