No one wants an empty seat at the holiday table.

Impaired driving is completely unacceptable and can have devastating consequences. Police across the state will be out removing impaired drivers from the road to protect New Jersey families during the holiday season.

Eliminating an agency that fights corruption doesn’t solve a problem—it creates one.

New Jersey doesn’t suffer from too much oversight—we suffer when independent watchdogs are silenced.

Statement from Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin On Supreme Court Arguments in First Choice v. Platkin.

With the federal government undermining public trust and weaponizing the DOJ, New Jersey should be expanding efforts to combat abuse of power—not rolling them back. I gave testimony against S4924 yesterday on that very premise—our record shows it, and the public deserves it.

As we celebrate Native American Heritage Day, let’s honor the culture, history, and enduring contributions of Native Americans — the first stewards of this land — and recommit to understanding and appreciating the diversity that strengthens our nation today. #NativeAmericanHeritageDay

Today, I’m thankful for the resilience, strength, and compassion that define the people of New Jersey. Whether you’re spending time with loved ones or taking a quiet moment of reflection, let’s remember what brings us together. Wishing everyone a safe and joyful Thanksgiving.

The Trump Admin is again trying to take food from the tables of New Jersey families by kicking legal residents off of SNAP.

This unconscionable attempt to push families into hunger isn't just cruel, it's illegal.

We are fighting for NJ and we are suing.

This Thanksgiving, the NJ Senate is killing a gov’t watchdog that stops wasteful spending, giving politically powerful individuals broad powers to intimidate law enforcement fighting corruption & even letting them tap phones. Outrageous.

I’ll be testifying against it on Mon.

AGs across the country agree: States must be able to respond to the threat unregulated AI poses to our residents, including our children.

Proud to join a bipartisan coalition in asking Congress to preserve states’ rights to regulate AI.

Instead of helping Americans with affordability, Trump is trying to illegally put families out on the street and block access to housing for homeless people.

We are suing the Admin. for unlawfully restricting funds that NJ relies on to provide shelter for homeless residents.

No company should be allowed to exploit workers and deny them their rightful wages. Proud to once again reach a settlement that will benefit employees who have been denied fair wages and benefits.

Together with NJ Labor Department, I will always stand up for workers.

When Trump threatened to restrict funding that supports victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, we sued.

Now the Trump DOJ has backed down and agreed to drop these illegal restrictions.

We shouldn't have had to fight for this. But we did, and we won.

Everyone deserves access to clean drinking water. Together with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, we’re holding corporate polluters accountable for contaminating our water supply, this time in the Pohatcong Valley.

Transgender Day of Remembrance is a solemn reminder of the deadly consequences of hate.

We’ll continue fighting every day to make New Jersey a place where our transgender neighbors can live free from fear and discrimination. #TDOR

Everyone is required to pay their fair share of taxes. We allege that this defendant was collecting sales tax from his customers, but not paying over that money to the Division of Taxation. This form of tax fraud will not be tolerated.

Honored to join Greater Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church in celebrating its 214th anniversary—the oldest Black church in Trenton and a cornerstone of faith and community.

Under Rev. Dr. Boyer’s leadership, its proud legacy of justice and service continues to guide us forward.

What a joy to meet the iconic Ruby Bridges while celebrating her legacy with Hillside Public Schools for Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day!

At just 6 years old, Ruby became a trailblazer, transforming history with her bravery, and today she continues to inspire us all to fight for change.

As NJ families rightly worry about rising healthcare costs, we will not tolerate health insurers defrauding the State and overcharging us for healthcare for our dedicated public servants.

My team will hold anyone accountable—no matter how big or powerful they are.

Today we announced charges against 14 defendants for their roles in a multimillion-dollar illegal sports betting ring.

Organized crime may evolve, but our message is clear: we will pursue and prosecute those who break the law.

Great conversation with Jersey's own
@eliehonig.bsky.social.

We talked about the evolving role of prosecutors, the importance of justice and accountability, and the lessons public service can teach us all. Insightful and inspiring.

Appreciated the opportunity to meet with the Trenton Capital City Community Coalition to discuss ongoing efforts to reduce gun violence, expand community partnerships, and strengthen trust between law enforcement and residents. Building a safer, stronger Trenton remains a top priority.

Everyone in this country—no matter where they come from—is entitled to due process.

The Trump Administration’s expansion of expedited removals threatens that fundamental right, and we’re fighting back.
