Read this in college and I remember in discussion saying something like “I feel like Humbert Is trying to convince the reader to do the justifying for him, not defend himself but to get us to do it for him.“ prof had the biggest grin while the rest of the class was confused and/or started defending.

And the fix is so easy: taxes (subscription fees), regulations, and fines. Encourage all fifty states to set up their own systems too and don’t allow any discount for overlapping fines/regulations, theyd clean it up in less than 8 hours

You could solve most of the problems of social media by just charging the company a small tax per user‘s post. Every tech company is now a subscription company right? Well guess what, those company’s subscribe to the government and now pay the govt‘s subscription fee (taxes): assessed monthly.

And no one cares about “expand drug price negotiation” no one wants that. What they want is hard price caps on outrageously expensive drugs implemented the day it’s signed into law. Not a 2 year study of the 10 most expensive recommended for negotiation for a price reduction maybe 2 years later.

Since it’s paywalled, is this for housing development or commercial/industrial development? Still infuriating either way, but if it’s a nakedly anti housing / anti density ruling, it’s even more outrageous especially since voters affirmatively declared they want density there! @volts.wtf
