I do have to talk about “Hear My Hope”, though. I was trying my absolute hardest not to ugly-cry in front of my boyfriend when this song came on lol. It’s a song about joining together and finding hope in times of despair. Fuck, I’m tearing up just writing this 😭

All of the songs were amazing, but if I talked about what I liked about all of them, I’d be here all week lol. Anyways, the girls looked SO PRETTY in their formal dresses! I especially love Vaggi’s dress. It gives “badass pirate babe” energy.

Onto a darker subject. I loved the entire sequence of “Brighter”. It was so visually stunning. Vincent’s death was brutal and haunting. It’s not surprising that he was desperate for power and attention in his human life.

“Live To Live” is such a beautiful song. I LOVE PENTIOUS SO MUCH 😭 the little reprise of “It Starts With Sorry” was lovely. Also, the line “mistakes are innate to being human and alive” hit HARD for me. I needed to hear that.

“Losin’ Streak” was pure HuskerDust ship fuel. Also, HOLY SHIT BLAKE’S VOCALS WERE INCREDIBLE! “Love in a Bottle” was a great song as well. Super catchy.
