This looks like a good little wavetable synth, but would it have killed Waldorf to make envelope parameters at least shift+twiddle on four knobs? Really?

One of the funniest trailers for the #AdventureX was Trans Theft Horso. Especially thanks to @benjamilian.bsky.social 's excellent rhyming. The melody is so catchy, the songs of the game will follow you around for days. Thanks.

Yes I did spend my Saturday evening deriving a formula for calculating resistor ratios to give specific maximum boost and cut range for an EQ I'm working on. I've earned a beer I think.

Giving my old Phonic PMC-12 mixer a once over. Got this in the early 90s and it's bulky and heavy compared to new gear, but it's a breeze to get into for repairs and still works. Several old mixers have attracted some kind of fashionable reputation, but not these.

Pottering along with some old 486 repairs. New RTC and some trace fixes this time. I'm not too familiar with computer repair so this is an education.

14 years of excellent service but now beyond economic repair, not least because Firewire is about 85 years out of date. Time for a change. Which annoyingly means finding a shit load of money. Sigh.

Any #mycology fans here? I'm new to this and haven't been able to ID these two. The first two pics are a #mushroom found in a deciduous woodland clearing, the third is a little cluster half eaten by beasties in my garden (both northern UK).

A lot of confusion on 'what has actually happened' in Kent with book bans. So we've put this 🧵 together

But whatever 'has or hasn't yet happened' – the council *has* instructed libraries to ban Trans+ books from the children's section.

That is both deplorable and vastly significant 👇
📕 Kent County Council has announce it will remove all transgender-related books from the children's sections of its libraries.

There has been lots of confusion about what this practically means - let’s take a look 🧵👇
