I was super sick when season 2 dropped and couldn't sleep so I binged it.

I don't think it's gotten better since then, and I'm one of the few who really enjoyed Season 2.

I really enjoyed what I played of it to test my physical disc copy.

It's crazy we got this, Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, and Silksong in the span of two months 🤣

The final act in that movie is wild.

Woke up 20 minutes later, saw it, checked my work comp.

No email, no DM, nothing on the intranet page, just saw another coworker being called up 2 hours into their shift getting canned in our slack channel.

When for years I faught for changes to help the entire company...

I missed four calls within 10 minutes, because it was a day off, and *gasp* i liked to actually get some sleep on my days off (worked 4-10's a week).

So 10 minutes later they texted it all to me in full.

But today it's been just me & the cats. Did a lot of chores, and now have finally been able to sit and do some introspection.

I'll hold off for now as this is me finally going through it, didn't get the chance to two days ago waking up to it through a TEXT message and then immediately job hunting and then yesterday just relaxing.

It's the feeling of rejection the most.

You pour your self into your work.

You look for ways of improvement inside & outside your workflow.

You try to connect and create relationships.

You think you're doing an amazing job.

Then all at once, you're not wanted.

You've been removed.

Rejected.
