Folks, I have a FRIDAY THE 13TH boxed set so I am aware Kevin Bacon was in the original. I just think it's neat that he's taking roles in horror flicks because he clearly enjoys the genre and is having fun.

This movie also has one of the most flat out mental "guy gets blasted out of a window" stunts you'll probably ever see.
A flick that seems to exist first and foremost to give Ringo Lam the chance to detonate every last blood squib in Asia. By no means am I complaining, mind you--Lam's like the squib Picasso. When the film's chief bad guy explodes in a crimson cloud at the climax, the moment's flat out transcendent.
