I have been playing Cyberpunk at 40fps. It's a million miles better than 30fps. I would say that 48fps would feel close enough to 60fps that I wouldn't notice much difference.
For VR, the difference between 60 and 90 is quite big though. Feels like the difference between 30 and 60 on a screen.
