strangers won't even call people acting anti social in public out anymore because when you do that some ill tempered freak who never got told "no" in the last 5 years will just straight up stab or shoot you

also the fact that basically every single customer service job just doesn't have enough people to meet even basic needs or even go "hey you gotta pay for that" or call out anti social behavior ranging from talking loudly on speaker phone to openly taking a shit on the floor

if the democrats can't hustle someone out that can appeal to the various people that got alienated and went for trump i suspect we're going to see a Century Of Humiliation for Democrats
