This is one of my fave high school memories.
He didn't know me. I wasn't cute, or hot, or important in ANY way, and yet he said hi to me.
I hope someday I get the chance to tell him that his comment 40 years ago still brings me joy.
(He later went on to be John Robert's on Fox. Context! Lol )

I made my purchase and as I turned to leave, in walks JD ROBERTS! A beloved muchmusic host who was in town for something.
He said "hi" to me. Like he knew me. I reflexively chirped back "Hi" and as I was leaving I heard one of the cool boys say in an awed hush: "she *knows* him!"
