The Chemical Brothers' 'Exit Planet Dust' (1995), featuring a photo of a hippie couple walking down the grassy shoulder of a highway in evening daylight as some model of late '60s sedan approaches them on the road from behind, and it's only now I'm realizing this either has to be from Australia or something owing to which side of the road they're driving on. that or they flipped the photo?

Just got this in the mail and I’m wondering if the position of the sticker is an incredible meta-joke
a sealed copy of the new Criterion edition of 'This Is Spinal Tap'. The cover is pretty normal all-told (title, band logo, Derek Smalls/David St. Hubbins/Nigel Tufnel bust portraits arranged in a lower 3/4 "Bohemian Rhapsody" formation). But the little circular sticker on the cellophane denoting that this is a "DIRECTOR APPROVED ROB REINER 4K UHD + BLU-RAY COMBO EDITION" is upside down and in the lower right hand corner.

me, I'd go with the classic Jackie Stewart look
the helmet of Scottish F1 driver Jackie Stewart, which is a plain white '60s/'70s-era design with a clear plastic swing-up visor. A blue/yellow/white/maroon-on-red tartan-pattern (Royal Stewart) band encircles the helmet around the upper third.

as for the actual purpose of coming out day I will say that while all my real-world experiences have been trad cis-het I look at this album cover sometimes and think "hmm"

There are no uploads of it on YouTube and the only place it can be found is in an online production library called DeWolfe music. today's Balatro victory is a tribute to tunnel-vision specialization
A Balatro win screen where I've just beat Amber Acorn (all jokers are flipped and shuffled, which had practically zero effect on this deck) on orange stake. $18 cash out, 936,514 points. Now here's the goofy part: By Ante 3 or so I wound up with TWO permanent burglars (when blind is selected, gain +3 hands and lose all discards) thanks to getting a duplicate via an Invisible Joker, Shortcut (allows Straights to be made with gaps of 1 rank), Runner (gains +15 chips for each played Straight; at this point it's been built to +600 chips), holographic (+10 mult) Smiley Face (played face cards give +5 mult), Four Fingers (all flushes and straights can be made with 4 cards), and a Negative (+1 Joker slot) Ride the Bus (gains +1 mult per consecutive hand played w/o a scoring face card; it's currently +2 and has been more or less redundant since I got it in Ante 6). It's like this deck wound up purpose-built for straight spamming. I played 38 straights in total (topping out at Level 6) along with 4 straight flushes (Lvl 3).

the funniest part is that Paul Thompson's Pitchfork review singled it out as the only tolerable song on the album
