Gentle reminder that I’m still fundraising for Cricket’s vet bills. I’m in a limited income on disability and have added up to close to $4k this year. My current goal is $2500 so I can at least pay my mom back. If you’re in the US, $1 USD -> $1.43 CDN. Goes a long way! gofund.me/254bfcac

One week since my baby was in the hospital for vomiting and dehydration after eating mom’s dracaena. And after five months of severe IBD issues and loose stools. I think we finally found food she can tolerate and that is not upsetting her little tummy. She looks better! gofund.me/254bfcac

Another reason to stop feeding my kitty fowl. Besides the fact she seems to be unable to digest it.

I don’t think cat’s vomiting is actually as normal as it seems. A hairball now and again, ok. But hair should be passing through. If your cat vomits their food, they might have a sensitivity to the protein or the fillers in the food they’re eating. We pay in the long run for buying cheap.

"Lynchian" is a fully realized and instantly comprehensible adjective, as concrete a one-word summation of an artist's aesthetic and worldview as has ever been associated with any artist in any medium. Things will forever be Lynchian, but there was only one David Lynch. #RIP
David Lynch, Auteur Drawn to the Dark and the Dreamlike, Dies at 78
With such hallucinogenic masterworks as 'Eraserhead,' 'Blue Velvet,' 'Mulholland Drive,' 'Twin Peaks' and 'The Elephant Man,' he often left more questions than answers.

As someone who spent years reporting on Zuckerberg, I've struggled to find something coherent to say about today. Then @cwarzel.bsky.social reminded me of my old reporting.

This is what a FB employee said to me in 2020 after Zuckerberg addressed workers following FB-enabled violence in Kenosha, WI.

PSA to my friends in California near the fires: breathing in wildfire smoke is really bad for you (even if it’s not super thick where you are) but if you have face masks (N95, KN95, etc) those can help a lot

Thank you Mike: "Malibu, meanwhile, is the wildfire capital of North America and, possibly, the world. The rugged 22-mile-long coastline is scourged, on the average, by a large fire (one thousand acres plus) every two and a half years" longreads.com/2018/12/04/t...
The Case for Letting Malibu Burn - Longreads
Many of California's native ecosystems evolved to burn. Modern fire suppression creates fuels that lead to catastrophic fires. So why do people insist on rebuilding in the firebelt?
