You're right. I've a very lame excuse that keeping an eye on the far right is a professional interest but I'm not comfortable with that. The amount of British media who still get their hot takes there is unforgivable.

I was instinctively uneasy about jury-less trials for rape cases (very aware who I'm replying to here btw!). Until I was on a rape jury. I'm 100% supportive now (+ ditching not proven in Scotland). The trial was conducted as respectively as it could have been.

Absolutely. I really liked the first series and then it just became more and more tedious as they actively refused to be funny.

I'd actually argue that some of the others that people are disputing are comedies. But there's no way that many black and white films would make a list. That's pompous-English-teacher-laughing-at-the-jokes-in-Shakespeare nonsense.

I am not convinced these people have actually watched any of these films and they certainly haven't ever written about comedy before. It's the wrong take on every one I've seen. They included a stand-up set, FFS. Ace Venturer has aged like milk, you could have picked ANY other Jim Carrey film.
