If you are out in #Nanaimo's parks & trails, make sure to use extra caution during & after stormy conditions. Watch for falling/fallen debris and slippery conditions. Use extra caution around waterways. Report any parks and trails concerns or issues: 250-756-5200 or [email protected]

Are you storm prepared, #Nanaimo? Make sure catch basins, drains & ditches are cleared of leaves/debris to help prevent flooding. If flooding happens, call Public Works: 250-758-5222. The Public Works yard has sand & bags for filling-bring a shovel. Learn more: www.nanaimo.ca/goto/flood-control
