I hate it when that thing happens where I know exactly how an English word is pronounced but I can't for the life of me figure out how it is written because my brain refuses and searching it up is not working because the way I try to write it actually is another word which is not the one I mean!

People have probably said this before but YA is not even anything really. Like it's definitely not a genre. At most it's something like the intended audience, but when have those ever actually made any sense?

Oh I really had to dig so deep into SPN 15 x 18 that now I am sitting here rewatching the whole scene because I rewrote it over and over. I really had to do this to myself, huh? I can't believe myself. xD

What gets me is that fanfic/fanart creators have been talking about the subject of getting dogpiled, harassed, and pressured *for so many years now* about making dark/unsettling content, and let nobody listened to the canary in the coal mine because “stupid fandom drama”
alternatively we as a society could realize that fiction is about playing with dolls and that horrible things happening to them doesn't matter because it's all toys.
but that seems more complicated than just bringing back big box PC games and publishing books alongside them
