Saturday, an atmospheric river deluged Oakland. Inside the old Coliseum, at a memorial service for the great Rickey Henderson, countless laughs rather than tears rained down as Hall of Famers, teammates, family, childhood friends and A’s fans said goodbye to a city’s beloved favorite son.

Thank you for your service, Mr. President. Few can ever say they measured up to #JoeBiden when it comes to the dedication of one’s life work. God bless, and know we as a nation are grateful.
