Reminder that if you ever need a meal and can't afford it, find your local gurudwara, they will feed you a great hot meal for free, you won't even have to fetch a plate for yourself and they'll also give you a place to crash if you don't have one and there's room. gurudwara is open to all always

3.19 am here and heck it’s cold. Instead of succumbing to fibromyalgia and giving up I am sat, getting rather annoyed at na:i Germany. Dunno if it’s because of current world events but it never used to get to me like this.

Read. Learn. Act
I would like to speak up today for the trans community.

You see, I know a bit of what it’s like to be politically scapegoated. When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941, suddenly anyone in America who had any amount of Japanese ancestry became suspect. Politicians preyed upon ignorance and fear. /1

History educators, wondering what you can do in this moment? You can learn queer history and teach queer history.

To build my bookcases or not?

Pros: I can finally have my desk back and proudly show off some of my books

Con: I’ll be in pain and suffer after it

One of my favourite places in the world and its from the 1600s. When you step through the gates to this graveyard, the bustle of the main road outside it seems to all but disappear as you walk around listening to the silence and wondering what stories the dead here could tell if alive today

Aztec mythology tells how the Sun & Moon used to radiate the same amount of light. The gods threw a rabbit at it, marking the moon's surface & darkening it to create the difference between day & night.

How cool is this?!
I love with mythology and legends overlap. In Japan, the moon is also associated with bunnies! Or a single rabbit that is pounding mochi rice cakes up there.
