Was walking around the Mall of America this morning and realized there's a store called "Llatka" and another one called "Sitka" and for a moment was very happy until I realized that wasn't actually her name.

It will be interesting to see how the Twin Cities do with Waymo. Took a couple of rides last week in Austin, TX and it was a trip.

Most of it is still pretty traditional with the exception of the media coverage, which is obsessed with food. Weird food drives more clicks than cattle judging I guess…. Shame though.

This brings me joy. The Cub store near me installed these whirly, flashy things on the to deter pigeons. Consequently they invented a pigeon discotheque.
