Would you say Innerzone Orchestra (with Carl Craig) was an influence?
I heard them perform this live and it was later edited into this album version. The language at the start is in Dutch, which I’m pretty sure is recorded at that same festival. (Dance Valley ‘1997’)

Yeah, I hear you. Luckily classic style first person dungeon crawling is quite different from high speed full action fps shooters with 360° degree cameras. And Etrian Odyssey is simply awesome 🤩
