tbh if somebody's art is cutesy trauma venting skinning shit, sure, whatever. yeah, that's just a drawing. Discomfort isn't the same as active harm.

We're grown ass adults who can tell when something squicks us out and aint our thing. We can also form fucking boundaries. I've done a comm for Kaim back in the day of their anthro sona with non doggy bits. If they asked me now to draw those bits I would just say no. We move tf on with our lives.

That's kinda what I'm getting at. There's a good faith argument for fantasy art that gets people's rocks off in a safe space vs ExoticErotics self-proclaimed dog harming in the making of their product. Awesome, they admitted it, boot their ass out. But someone's fantasy art is just that: fantasy.
