You may appreciate one of my favorite stories eg-solar.de/en/nepal/ describing how an old growth forest was saved from becoming firewood by solar cookers. Near 7K cookers in a 20+K refugee camp.
This is how resourced countries help.

Solar Cooking and teaching it. Could really appreciate more 'star power' folks to promote it though. Here is the story of how solar cookers saved an old growth forest in Nepal from turning into kindling from +20K refugees. eg-solar.de/en/nepal/
I can't make it 'sexy enough' for people in the USA.

Being very quiet, both Muscovy and Rabbits are 'incognito' food. inside city limits, no one knows. I primary use the birds as weed abatement. Here are some 'wicking' beds which drain to the aquaponic sump. Between the wicking, stone (with bell siphons), and floating beds, bird patrol the aisles.

Friday's Headline: Thursday's Power outages provides "Bounty" for Animal Food Rescuers working with local Restaurant
Interesting title?
Fact: Slate Restaurant is partnered with an Animal Food Rescue team Careit.com, 250lbs of damaged food fed near 200 critters (after processing). More all year.

"There is always a bigger fish" means there are repercussions greater than the US state of chaos.
Let's see if they are even acknowledged, let alone obeyed

Lovely shot. I have a shorter type of bird living with me. Giving me the same blue eye on a regular basis when the restaurant food bucket comes to the back yard.
