On my walk to the hospital, in Fifeville primary roads look pretty good and secondary roads look pretty bad. And sidewalks are fairly slippery, even ones that have been cleared.

Major credit to the city for improving its snow removal systems over the course of this year. I’m impressed with the work that was done today in Fifeville.

Don’t drive unless you absolutely have to. Saw multiple cars spin out on this stretch of Cherry plus these two stuck buses

I can’t imagine how hard it is to live in a place with such awful neighborhood character. I’m sure they’re all eager to hop in the cars they don’t have to own because of the all missing middle housing, transit, and access to amenities this urban form provides and instead move out to suburbs asap.

A reminder - here are some of Traci’s campaign materials from when he ran for re-election for Albemarle County commonwealth’s attorney in 2019. And he failed (was it intentional?) to perform very basic lawyer functions when attempting to prosecute Jason Kessler. The guy is terrible.

Important comment from JAUNT CEO Mike Murphy during his informative presentation to council on Monday: transit works well when higher density housing exists. Transit policy is directly tied to housing policy.
