At home teach your child to be more self sufficient and more of a producer (creator, builder) vs a consumer. At school crack down on cheating which is rampant. At state level fully fund school districts to provide smaller class sizes and resources for schools and teachers. Less multiple choice tests

I guess, with Trump’s tariff ‘logic’, I will have to limit my coffee intake to only 2 cups a week vs my 30 cups per week. Sad!

Here is a simple example. Learning to spell by phonics is logical. However, the spelling bee contestants also consider word origin if they want to do well. History is not like math and phonics. It must consider culture (word origin) and the experiences of the people that lived through said history.

Mr. Woolley needs to look up the definition of “logic”. Also, emotion is not the opposite of logic. He provided no facts and proof to his statement regarding the cartoon of Cristopher Columbus. He seems very shallow. The opposite of logic is illogical.

It is a middle school social skills tactic. The adult in the room doesn’t want to argue with ignorance so they ignore the childlike behavior and even gets frustrated. The interruptor child thinks they won the argument and the adult in the conversation thinks they won.

If you are advocating for a more church going revival like in the 1970s maybe you should also warn about all the cults in the 70s that took advantage of young people looking for meaning in their lives by manipulating and controlling them when they are down on their luck.

I worked in the math department at a University for over 10 years. Many of the math professors had failed geometry in high school and had to retake the course the following year. Apparently second time was the charm as it caused them to love math and earn their PhD in mathematics.

Unfortunately many people will have to wait to see our economy collapse, to lose jobs, social security, Medicare, Medicaid, VA benefits, consumer finance protection, etc. And to see that Trump is a con man. For some it is the only way to wake up. They have to hit rock bottom.
