I'm just this gal, you know?
The problem for me is that I was already hosting friends and family at my house, so I had to disinvite the family. Woooo ruining Thanksgiving for them but saving it for me. XD

That sounds right because I remember the name being kind of generic, but I really don't remember. I feel like it was in the back of a small two story shopping center, but my memories of that are pretty dicey.

It's a fascinating book of history, which touches on many topics that we are still dealing with today, and Bill Bryson has a very relaxing yet engaging voice. Learn about Babe Ruth, transatlantic flight, early films, flagpole sitters, America eugenicists, Italian Fascists, Charles Ponzi, and more!

I don't remember its name, but it was in Valdosta, Georgia.

I've seen this one before! It's definitely very powerful, particularly considering the media landscape at the time. However, "Let us write down on the blackboard all absentees, all grumblers, all pessimists" makes me think they missed the memo that snitches get stitches.

That poster has endured for over 20 years as one of my favorite pieces of graphic design. As you said, it was a really interesting time, so maybe I'll post about more art and design from that era on here. You know, scream into the void about Suprematism and stuff.

lol I was wondering if someone would come along to correct me! I'm glad it was you! I'm not used to working within a character limit, so I had a really hard time condensing the information down. I had originally included more about who the Whites were, but in the end I gave up and oversimplified.
