I love how art from over 100 years ago can resonate so strongly today. Beat the Whites with the Red Wedge by El Lissitzky was created as propaganda for the revolutionary communist Bolshevics, known as the Reds. The red wedge penetrating the white circle depicts their defeat of the socialist Whites.
