This was lunch: locally foraged chanterelles and some very pretty seared endive with a chunk of baguette. Dinner is leftovers that are much less cute but also delicious.

Pretty into the Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance part of the American transportation exhibit at the Smithsonian museum of American History, mostly for the information on rejections, advances, and the editing process, rather than the motorcycle tbh.

Yeah I checked back on them this morning and there's some kind of white sticky goo they're very into! Despite the really cold and wet weather. I still need to find out the tree species. It's a garden plant my parents put in decades ago.
