I assumed we'd get here, but the messaging was wrong enough to seem dishonest to me. I think I was mostly alone on this, no one else seemed to care at all.

Everything feels so hopeless all the time, so I'm trying to find the bright spots. Those members of Congress are all self-interested, so there is a tipping point where they abandon him. Not sure where that is, but I hope we see it soon.

I'm gonna disagree a little, just to offer some hope. His numbers are cratering at this point. He'll always have his core of idiots, but it does seem like a lot of people are losing faith in him now.
But I totally agree that there's a group of people for whom nothing will matter.

I think this is true for a portion of his base, but not all of them. Pizzagate was real to them, and I think being a pedophile will be a bridge too far for a lot of them. Every bit of erosion helps us, so I don't want to write this off as unhelpful.
