Recent interview with the Like a Dragon/Yakuza developer. Totally agree with him but I also feel this thinking applies to AEW. You have a loyal fanbase of the product. Why change to alienate them in the off chance that replacing what is unique with mass appeal will pay off? #aew #sega

It's been awhile since I've seen a show from any promotion savaged like Fed Games. Not that I'd watch it but it's got that 3/10 movie quality on IMDB that's got me curious about just how bad it is 🤔 anyway not long until the C2 continues! #aew

I often go back to what the creators of South Park said when the viewership went down a bit in the early 2000s. The mainstream buzz had worn off but the core audience was going nowhere. And it didn't. But that can't work for AEW? Hmmmm #aew
Once again the discourse on attracting the casual fan to AEW eh? Are we not allowed to have wrestling content catered to us, who'll happily support the company through the ups and downs? No no, go after the fan that'll stop watching when they see something shiny across the room.
