Some kind of lefty who likes board games and motor racing. Social Housing for all. He/him
Like something like A Bridge Too Far or The Eagle Has Landed are dad films because they are films my dad liked. With the attitudes that go with them.

But they are almost Grandad films now. Because my children arnt going to think those are dad films.

Indeed. Which is leading me to think that what I think 'dad film' is, is morphing. From what would my dad think, to what do I think?

Because I am a dad and I know other dad's who like films like these for these reasons. Dad films are changing with the cultural attitudes of the dads.

I think that because there is quite a tender positive depiction of male friendship at the heart of it, while wrapped up in a war film. Is what makes it so appealing to the dads and the bros.

I mean that's why I like it.

Let me dream!

Hopefully Ferarri have it together at least

Looking forward to Newey infront of the cameras making excuses for Alonso's Q1 exit after Stroll puts it on poll.

Reeves did an interview with The Times this week where she did the uwu they only attack me because I'm a woman bit.

So she does try to suppress criticism by calling it misogynistic

He was something to do with The Young Turks iirc

The 3rd one was a disappointing entry.

But the series as a whole is great. The thinking man's blockbuster

Big assumption that they are not simply following their principles

But that said, I've met some dreadful volunteers who wouldn't be patient enough to explain that nicely

I understand chazzas rejecting donations that won't be gift aided. Particularly if they have a lot of donations already.

It's an admin headache to categorise the two. Plus the work and shop space to sell items that are 20% less valuable.

If he pays tax he really should have gift aided
November 16, 2025 at 6:06 AM
Why wouldn't he gift aid?

Really miss your videos.

The closer we get to 2026 the more I'd love to see one explain the changes in the digestible way you taught me this sport in 2022.

Now You See Me has to be one of the worst films for its budget I have ever seen

These guys think "it's shit, it has to be shit, and you're stupid for thinking it's possible for it be less shit, so shut up and eat the shit" is a mark of maturity and a compelling argument

I'm a 35 Yr old professional with a wife, two kids, and a mortgage. Who do they think they're talking to?

Is that why the Greens are polling so strong?

People like it.

Labour don't need to win a majority, they have one. There is no one stopping them.

You obviously haven't read the policy proposals. Promising social house building isn't pie in the sky.
November 9, 2025 at 4:08 PM
The public overcome their fear of widespread public house building to lift people out of the expense and insecurity of private renting. Come. On. Man.
November 9, 2025 at 4:07 PM
Perhaps then redirect your efforts away from arguing against it.
November 9, 2025 at 3:47 PM
You are allowed to dream bigger.

The government could turn around tomorrow and announce the setting up of a national House builder and they can start building and be delivering 100,000 homes a year within 5 years for everyone in housing need.

Just like we used to.
