I did the dishes shirtless last time this one was at my place, but I smell of citrus and she’s in a long term relationship and oh I see where I went wrong. Fuck.

Hey, if you're an Audible Premium Plus member they've added my Last Man Standing zombie trilogy to their buy one-get one Spooky Listens promo until 10/31.

I won't toot my horn about the writing, but my narrator Matthew Crow sounds like Nick Offerman. He's the best.

Winter has arrived with a vengeance. Already seeing lows of -20C in late October, and this is the year I've stupidly decided to skip Thailand and stick out the season in Mongolia. Follow me for more examples of poor judgement.

Here's my long overcoat in my $625 2bed 2bath apartment. Y'all are just in the wrong country :)

Yay, fixed it! When my landlord told me it would be 24hrs before he could get someone out to dismantle the mechanism I made the sensible, measured, adult decision to balance on a windowsill 13 floors up and just beat the fuck out of it until it gave in.

Windows are my bitch.

Oh no. The first scarf of the year has been dragged out of retirement. This time just a sunny yellow cotton number from Vientiane, Laos, but they only get thicker and warmer from here on in.

I often forget that Mongolia is the most sparsely populated country in the world, because we're all crammed into a single valley and there are never any seats in my local pub on a Friday.

It was truly a beautiful, magical time to be alive. Oh, to be young and optimistic and excited about this cool new trick you just learned with HTML.

I contend that this was and remains the best example of intelligent recasting in entertainment history. I will not be taking questions at this time.

I've peaked at 44. It's all downhill from here. Gonna talk to a donut about it.

Consonance and tonality as we currently know it was shaped by colonial forces in the 19th century and earlier. We are conditioned to enjoy 12 tone equal temperament before we are even born. The elite can exploit these patterns of familiarity for profit.

Posting middle aged thirst traps to Instagram for an audience of one. I guess this is what a mid-life crisis looks like when you can't afford a Porsche

Flagged by insurance companies as a high risk client after they learned I put this wool Brioni blazer in the washing machine yesterday because I couldn’t be bothered to take it to the dry cleaner. The equivalent of sharing a needle for the sartorial world.

Redford was at the very zenith of his cool in Spy Game. Fight me.

I think it's important for my wellbeing that I go and sleep with someone with multiple piercings and a t-shirt from a band too cool for me to have heard of as a matter of urgency.

This is pretty cool. Thai actor Dom Hetrakul went to the Emmys in a raw silk tux made by Wardrobe Ministry, the tiny little Bangkok company that make my favourite knit polo shirts. Just a few years ago they didn't even have a physical shop. Love to see a good small business doing well.

Therapist: So, how've you been doing?
Me [evasively]: Yeah, good week. Normal. Normal week.
Therapist: Is it still happening?
Me: I don't know what you're talking about.
Therapist: Are your groceries still ordering you to kill Jerry from Bluesky?

Spent the last six days performing major surgery on a thrifted Zegna suit jacket that needed the sleeves taking up at the shoulder (to avoid the surgeon's cuffs). Being slightly obsessive about things scratches an itch in my brain.
